«O índico é indicado», or something along the lines of "The Indian Ocean is chosen" for those non-lusophones (but that's a small "c", no religous overtones please), is unofficially up-and-running, only 6 weeks behind schedule. After one week of phone calls, one notarized letter from my landlady delegating me the proper authority, one visit to the state phone store, several faxes and emails, and one visit to the back office at the telecommunications university to pick up a free modem, I have gone ADSL and am ready to bring you, my precious and currently non-extant reader, the highs and the lows from bluff overlooking the Indian Ocean which I currently call home. More specifics regarding the (likely wandering and contradictory) editorial slant of this blog will be documented as they become apparent.
